Online Resume Review & Coaching
Live one-to-one help is available from Noon to midnight through Tutor.com. Tutors will assist with job applications, provide technical feedback on resumés and cover letters, as well as interview prep.

Friends of the Library
The Friends are a group of library advocates dedicated to enhancing the Chesapeake Public Library System by providing services and programs that enrich the lives of area residents of all ages. They raise funds to purchase equipment and materials that are not funded through the regular library budget. In addition, they sponsor special classes and events and advocate for strong library support.

Residential Drop-Off Recycling Sites
Residential drop-off recycling sites opened July 1st. They may be found at: Russell Memorial Library, Chesapeake Municipal Center, Indian River Library, Department of Human Services, Toll Plaza Road, Chesapeake City Park, and Deep Creek Park. The drop-of program will start basic and will gradually grow as the City determines the best way to accomplish our recycling goals.
