Memory Lab

Convert all your analog files to digital at Central Library. It's a do-it-yourself (DIY) model, meaning we provide step-by-step instructions for your personal archiving project, but you control the process from start to finish.

Preserve your family photos, albums and important documents. Scan them using our professional scanner and then share those digital pictures with family and friends!

View your old slides, then scan and save them on your external hard drive.

Scan your black and white or color negatives and bring those pictures back to life.

Convert your old home videos from VHS or VHS-C to digital files.

Cassette Tapes

Convert your old cassette tapes to mp3 files.

Record audio files to release as a podcast or share interviews to capture family memories and personal narratives.

Veterans History Project

Schedule an appointment to record your military history. The Library will send your story to be archived in the Library of Congress. Call Central Library for more information at 757-410-7147.
